What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – CIN -183
Pitcher Grind Down
CIN – Tony Cingrani is a young pitcher that I really like. He has a solid K rate of 11 per 9 innings which is near the top of the league. That number comes down a bit as a starter, but he is a pitcher that makes batters miss. After Homer Bailey threw a no hitter last night, I think Cingrani could continue the hot Reds pitching and have a nice game tonight. Target
SF – Take a quick look at Barry Zito road numbers and you will realize that he is not in play tonight. He has a 10.41 ERA and a 2.460 WHIP, and that’s over 6 starts. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
CIN – Start your stacking engines! Barry Zito has been atrocious on the road this season. All of the Reds are in play, even the lefties. Best value of the day: Todd Frazier
SF – Like I said, I think Cingrani pitches pretty well tonight and racks up a decent amount of K’s, but Buster Posey is always in play against lefties batting .375 on the season with 16 XBH’s.

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 10.0
- Favored Team – BOS -184
Pitcher Grind Down
BOS – This over/under of 10 really scares me away from taking either pitcher in this one. Jon Lester has really been struggling in his last few starts and the Padres hit lefties well. I think Lester could be in line for the win, but that might come with 4 earned runs. I’d rather take someone with bigger upside. In Play
SD – Edison Volquez is a monster underdog in what should be one of the highest scoring games of the night. You won’t miss out on much if you don’t take him. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
BOS – Another possible stacking team tonight is the Red Sox. I could see them putting up 8+ runs themselves and I really don’t think that any of them are out of play. If you want to mini-stack the Sox, I suggest finding the players with the best value and taking 3-4 of them.
SD – I have a good feeling about Kyle Blanks tonight. He really has some power with that bat and has been lights out against lefties this season with a .324 average and 5 home runs. Chris Denorfia and Chase Headley also hit lefties well.

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.0
- Favored Team – NYM -170
Pitcher Grind Down
NYM – Whenever the Mets are big favorite, odds are that the starting pitcher that day is Matt Harvey. Such is the case tonight as the Braves try to get the series sweep against the D-Backs. So far the Mets pitching has done well against this offense and I think Harvey is in a great spot. He has an incredible 1.77 ERA at home with a WHIP of only 0.790. The D-Backs may not even get on base, let alone score runs. Avoid
ARI – Randall Delgado hasn’t been on my fantasy radar other than to take hitters against him. He is an average pitcher that doesn’t get a lot of strike outs. He has struggles on the road and is a big underdog as well. Avoid Not Taking Harvey
Batter Grind Down
NYM – Josh Satin has been on fire lately and no one is playing him. As of yesterday, he was close to minimum salary on a bunch of different sites. He is now batting 5th in the lineup and his average is .390 on the season. Ride the hot bat.
ARI – No point in trying to think outside the box here, the D-Backs lineup is going to be full of 0/3’s tonight.

SEA vs L | SEA BvP | TEX vs R | TEX BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.0
- Favored Team – TEX -125
Pitcher Grind Down
TEX – Two very good pitchers face off tonight in a hitter’s park. Derek Holland gets the start for the Rangers and he has had some great success against the Mariners in the past. The highest batting average against him on the Mariners is only .286. I think he pitches well against them again tonight, but there is no guarantee for the win. In Play
SEA – The Rangers have actually had some decent success against Felix. He is 0-2 against them this season with a 5.84 ERA. I think he pitches better than that tonight, but if you are choosing a pitcher in this one, I would go with Holland. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
TEX – The Rangers bats have had success against Felix this year, but that doesn’t mean that I am going to be using any of them tonight. There are much better options out there.
SEA – Same goes for Seattle. Why take a hitter facing the tough Holland when you can pick on a guy like Zito or Volquez?

LAD vs R | LAD BvP | COL vs R | COL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.0
- Favored Team – LAD -113
Pitcher Grind Down
COL – Tyler Chatwood is an extremely underrated pitcher. He doesn’t give up more than two earned runs in his starts, he just doesn’t. He has a solid ERA of 2.13 and more than half of his starts have been in Coors Field. Now do I trust him on my fantasy team? No way, Coors is just too risky. Avoid
LAD – Zach Greinke is a pitcher with big upside, but again I don’t like taking pitchers in Coors Field. Sure, sometimes that strategy can backfire like it did last night with Kershaw, but more often than not, it’s the smart thing to do. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
COL – Carlos Gonzalez is a guy that should be highly owned tonight. He has huge upside, has a good track record against Greinke, and is “DUE” for a big game. OK, he is not due, but maybe he is due?
LAD – The Dodgers are always dangerous against RHP because all of their big bats can hit righties well. Adrian Gonzalez is a safe play to get you some positive fantasy points. I also like Andre Ethier. I am however, going to stay away from Matt Kemp.
