MLB DFS Lineup Advice Today
Friday night brings a big 13-game slate, and with the different start times this season, it’s the biggest slate we’ve had in a while. With so many options on the slate at both hitting and with our pitchers, projected ownership could have extra importantance, as ownership always consolidates around a few perceived top options. Let’s sort through the slate and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.
Top MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings & FanDuel
Top Stacks
Overall Stack: New York Yankees
Implied Run Total: 4.42 (6th)
Projected Total Ownership: 40% (FD) / 34% (DK)
The Yankees are coming in as my top stack, with both power upside and an attackable pitcher on the mound. Colin Rea has just a 14.9% K rate this season, and he allowed 23 HRs in 124.2 IP last season, good for a 1.66 HR/9. The Yankees have the highest average HR odds for any team on the slate, with Aaron Judge leading the way but Giancarlo Stanton and Juan Soto not too far behind. The Yankees are on the road with guaranteed 9th-inning at-bats, and American Family Field in Milwaukee has the 7th-best HR park factor in MLB over the past few years.
Judge is my top bat here, and even though the multitude of options we have on this slate is keeping Judge’s pOWN% down, he has the strongest HR prop on the board after breaking out of his mini power slump with a home run two games ago. I don’t mind Judge (or another Yankee power hitter) as a one-off, but I’m very interested in the stack as well. The size of the slate—with 26 teams in play—should keep ownership down across the board. If I’m playing one stack today, the Yankees are a priority.
