Sunday Pitching: MLB DFS Picks on FanDuel & DraftKings
The Top Options

Charlie Morton vs. Rockies
Jon Gray vs. Blue Jays
Jesus Luzardo vs. Nationals
Freddy Peralta vs. Pirates
It’s not a super exciting slate for arms, but I do find the top options intriguing to discuss today. I’m actually going to do some analysis before I show the 2023 numbers, and it starts with this:
Charlie Morton is going to be massive chalk today. On one hand, I get it. He’s a safe option, he’s a huge home favorite, and he’s facing a Rockies offense that is frankly hapless away from Coors Field. However, that’s also going to lead to big time ownership. The early BAT projections have him at around 30%+ on FD and 50%+ on DK. That’s a big number. It’s not like this is Jacob deGrom here. It’s Charlie Morton. Do the numbers support him being so chalky?
