What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 20 entries in the larger-field tournaments. I plan to be overweight on Aaron Nola and Gavin Williams as GPP pitching options, and I will spread out my stack exposure a good bit on a night when there are plenty of options for bats. Baltimore is the stack that I want to be most overweight on in a matchup against a low-strikeout pitcher in Kyle Hendricks.
stevietpfl: I’ll be focused on large-field tournaments. On a 12-game slate, I like 5 pitchers. I think we see at least 3 teams score 8+ runs. I want a small pitching pool with a large offensive pool. On DraftKings, I want a 5-man stack as much as possible. On FanDuel, my main builds will be 4-4 or 3-3-2 stacks.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments – With several offenses in great hitting spots, I prefer to spend down at pitcher. Aaron Nola is my top target at his price, and I also see value from Gavin Williams and Luis Castillo. On the hitting side, I love the Padres, but I also see plenty of upside from teams like the Orioles and Yankees.
Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry contests. I don’t feel great about this, but I like enough offenses that I expect to come in under the field on them. The Orioles, Angels, Yankees, Rockies, Athletics, and Phillies are some of my favorite stacks if I cross out the Padres. I plan on first prioritizing pitching, as there are enough games and appealing offenses to make it work. Ideally I won’t need to stray from Hunter Brown, Max Meyer, Aaron Nola, and Kevin Gausman as a pitching pool.
