MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, June 1

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

headChopper: Mike Trout
ebeimfohr: Mike Trout
boggslite: Mike Trout

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I prefer multi-entering in large-field tournaments. I’ll be keeping my pitcher pool to about 5 or 6 guys with the chalky options, and I’ll also dig for a sleeper to get different at the pitcher spot. There are not really that many games, so it makes me want to stack less than on a slate that has 10+ games. Typically, that means more 3-man stacks than full 4-man and 5-man stacks.

ebeimfohr: I am focusing on smaller-field tournaments, with a clear strategy revolving around some of the pitchers with the top pOWN% on both sites, led by Jacob deGrom. The gap from the top few options down to the middle tier of pitching is far wider than that gap with bats and stacks, so I will be looking to find the offensive spots that are more undervalued and have low pOWN% to pair with the chalkier pitchers.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Even with some interesting cheap options at pitcher, my preference is to pay up. Jose Soriano and Jacob deGrom are my favorite targets, but I also won’t overlook the strikeout upside from Joe Ryan.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
