MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, March 30

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

headChopper: Ronald Acuna Jr.
ebeimfohr: Ronald Acuna Jr.
boggslite: Pete Crow-Armstrong

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in large-field tournaments?

headChopper: Michael Busch
ebeimfohr: Juan Soto
boggslite: Daulton Varsho

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: On DraftKings, I am playing small-field tournaments that have limited entries, and on FanDuel, I prefer large-field multi-entering. I like Edward Cabrera for the smaller-field stuff, and I might play him with my one lineup on DraftKings. On FanDuel, in those large fields, I will be at the field or under on him. I definitely like going cheap at pitcher tonight, as there are no stars that I deem elite DraftKings plays. On my single lineup, I will probably force at least a 3-man stack, but that’s it, whereas in the multi-entering on FanDuel, I will force a 4-man stack at the very least but also some double stacks.

ebeimfohr: I will be focusing on smaller-field tournaments. The lynchpin of this slate for me on DK is the SP2 spot, because after Edward Cabrera, there is a long list of flawed options. If the field gravitates towards anyone in particular, they make for both a good fade and a potential leverage stack (or at least some bats) against that pitcher. FD is a little different, but similar, with the pitching options after Cabrera still generating some ownership to leverage against, even if it’s not quite as powerful as DK.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – There’s not a lot to get excited about when it comes to pitching, and I will likely have a narrow pool consisting of Cody Ponce, Edward Cabrera, and Ranger Suarez. On the hitting side, the wind will be blowing out at Wrigley, making the Cubs my top offense to target, followed by Toronto, Atlanta, and Boston.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
