MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, September 7

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stlcardinals84: In my large-field GPP builds, I am still going to go with a very narrow pitching pool. My favorite options are Dylan Cease and Tobias Myers by a wide margin, and I don’t have a lot of conviction on any other pitchers. Flag planting a stance on those two pitchers will let me cast a wider net with stacks, with the Brewers, Dodgers, and Twins being my three favorites.

Krayton: Tobias Myers is a pitcher I will be overweight on, as he gets a great matchup against COL and offers quite a bit of savings from the top tier pitching group. I will also be taking an underweight stance on Dylan Cease, as he’s expensive, and we haven’t seen his elite upside in the last few starts. The Dodgers are my favorite stack by quite a bit, and I will be mixing in MIN, TEX, and even SEA for my secondary stacks.

Bobby Gomes: For MME, I will put more emphasis on bats and the right stacks today, as my pitching player pool will be condensed. Dylan Cease, Logan Gilbert, Spencer Schwellenbach, and Logan Webb are at the top tonight, but none stand out from a K perspective. Pitchers like Tobias Myers, Gavin Williams, Jose Berrios, and Kyle Gibson will fit my builds to my liking. I will be overweight on the Rangers and Brewers from a stacking angle.

TJ Zwarych: I will only have 5 pitchers in my player pool tonight for MME, with Tobias Myers and Bailey Ober as my top options. Dylan Cease, Kyle Gibson, and Spencer Schwellenbach are the only other pitchers I’ll be considering.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
