What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 20 entries in the larger-field tournaments. This is a very interesting Sunday slate with lots of high-end pitching. I am not taking a hard line stance on a preference of the aces, though I plan to be most overweight on Zack Wheeler of the group. I do really like Shinnosuke Ogasawara as a cheap SP2 on DraftKings — not because I think he’s a special talent, but rather because he’s $4,000 and facing a mediocre Boston lineup. That salary helps you fit in an ace SP1 along with the bats you really want. As for bats, I will be significantly overweight on the Blue Jays as my #1 stack.

Krayton: I will be playing my usual single-entry contests along with 20-entry max contests. My favorite pitchers are Tarik Skubal, Garrett Crochet, and Zack Wheeler on the high end. I will be sprinkling in Edward Cabrera over on DK as an SP 2 to afford some higher-end stacks/bats. The Yankees and Blue Jays are two of my favorite stacks, and over on FD, I will be overweight on the Coors Field game, stacking both sides.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs. I’ll be spending up at pitching and spreading out with cheap bats. Most of the stacks on the slate are facing off against elite or at least very good pitchers, so I’ll focus on the Blue Jays as my top stack and then get a small piece of exposure to everyone else as a secondary stack.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
