MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, June 2
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: I am going to fade the Milwaukee bats. I expect this team to get some buzz with a matchup against a bad pitcher in Nick Nastrini with the woeful White Sox bullpen behind him. However, this offense is very expensive to stack, and if I am spending up for bats, I’ll just go get the Braves instead. The Brewers continue to perform above their baseline expectations, and I don’t want to overpay on a day where they will get attention from others.
Krayton: I will be looking to fade the expensive pitchers and target the mid-to-lower tier. Yesterday, Chris Sale was extreme chalk, and he wasn’t able to put up a single fantasy point on FD and had a negative outing on DK. I just really like the edge you can get by targeting the high-upside stacks/bats and looking for good lower-to-mid-range pitchers such as Ben Brown, Chris Bassitt, and Hunter Brown today.
tcsmith031: As was the case on Saturday afternoon, we don’t really have any stack standing out as obvious chalk. Some ownership could trickle to the Braves, but I still wouldn’t expect them to be overwhelmingly chalky by any means. This slate is also rich with pitching, so I’m not too concerned about potentially coming in under the field on what looks like a very popular Freddy Peralta. I’ll be spreading my exposures on both the hitting and pitching side today.
TJ Zwarych: It feels like a great day to fade the chalky pitchers, as I don’t feel overly comfortable with Freddy Peralta, Nick Lodolo, or Charlie Morton. I’ll focus more on the middle range, with Chris Bassitt, Brandon Pfaadt, and Ben Brown being my main targets, with Cole Ragans being my favorite spend up for tournaments.
