MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, May 17
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
stlcardinals84: James Wood
Krayton: Bobby Witt
TJ Zwarych: Bobby Witt
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 20 entries in the larger-field contests. I have a clear plan of attack today, which involves being overweight on Paul Skenes and Nathan Eovaldi while shying away from Zack Wheeler, who is still building up to full strength. I love the Orioles, Nationals, and Cubs as my favorite stacks against weaker pitchers.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry and 20-max contests on both sites. I’ll be overweight on Paul Skenes at pitcher. The White Sox were one of my top stacks yesterday, and they are going to be the stack I am most overweight on again. The trio I am building around and will be overweight on include Miguel Vargas, Colson Montgomery, and Munetaka Murakami. I will then be mixing in stacks like the Nationals, Cubs, and Orioles.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field tournaments. Although I’ll likely be eating the chalk at pitcher, I plan to get different with my stacks. I’ll be underweight on or fading the Royals and Orioles, and I’ll be underweight on Aaron Judge. I’ll load up on the Nationals, Braves, White Sox, and despite their struggles, the Blue Jays.
Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
