What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I am playing 40 lineups in the large-field flagship GPP. My plan right now is to narrow my pitcher pool down to my top 4 choices and rotate those guys throughout my lineups. This slate looks like a single-stack kind of day, so I’ll build lineups with 4-man stacks and won’t force stacking in the remaining 4 hitter spots. I also plan to be overweight on both my Milwaukee stacks and my Milwaukee one-offs.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. I’m likely to play Paul Skenes in most, if not every, lineup I make. My SP2 (and pivot off of Skenes) will first be Shane Baz if I have the money and Matthew Liberatore (and all of his ground balls) if I’m a little short on funds. This will lead to me being lower than the field on two teams in top hitting environments: the Royals and Reds. We have a good slate to homer-hunt, as we’re looking at a pile of fly-ball pitchers with dinger issues. With that in mind, the majority of my offensive player pool will come from the Twins, Cardinals, Rangers, Brewers, and Guardians.

ebeimfohr: With a couple of my favorite spots having low pOWN%, I actually like using those in smaller-field tournaments today. With ownership condensing around the “best plays” in these contests, it allows me to target a low-owned arm and a low-owned stack and fill in around them without worrying about ownership or having to hit the perfect plays around the “sneaky” options.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
