Who is your favorite sneaky stack on the board and why?

CheeseIsGood: Pirates – Colin Rea has a 3.34 ERA that is not in any way supported by the underlying skills. There is nothing to suggest that a .255 BABIP is sustainable, and with just a 16.1% K rate to lefties this season, this Pirates team has some sneaky upside. Oneil Cruz and Bryan Reynolds are both high-priority plays for me, with Cruz way up at a 20.7% barrel rate vs. RHP this season and Reynolds with his .374 wOBA. Past them, Rowdy Tellez, Jack Suwinski, Yasmani Grandal, and Josh Palacios all have power upside at very cheap salaries.

SquirrelPatrol: Mariners – The Mariners are facing RHP Adam Mazur. Through 6 starts in his MLB career, Mazur has struck out just 12.3% of the hitters he’s faced while walking 13.9% and putting up a 7.52 ERA. Luke Raley (.235), Mitch Garver (.218), and Cal Raleigh (.212) all have ISOs over .200 vs. RHP since the start of last season, giving the Mariners some pop that could spell trouble for Mazur.

stevietpfl: Brewers – There are a lot of potential stacks, and the Brewers seem to be going overlooked. The price of this stack should keep them lower owned. Quinn Priester is a below-average strikeout pitcher. He has really struggled with lefties as well. The Brewers have speed and power, which makes them a dangerous stack against a pitcher that doesn’t miss bats.

boggslite: Athletics – As inconsistent as this offense has been, they do have plenty of power, and as a stack, they are very cheap. There should be favorable hitting conditions in Boston, which will likely work against Brayan Bello, who has mediocre strikeout ability and is no stranger to coughing up the long ball.

eys819: Mariners – They get arguably the best matchup on the slate against Adam Mazur, who has been awful in his first 6 starts. Mazur has struck out just 12.3% of batters and walked 13.9% of them. He has had no answer for lefties, and the Mariners project to roll out 6 of them.
