MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, June 11
What’s your under-the-radar home run call of the day?
CheeseIsGood: Davis Wendzel
squirrelpatrol: Willy Adames
stevietpfl: Jo Adell
boggslite: Gary Sanchez
eys819: Jurickson Profar
Who is your top overall hitter (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
CheeseIsGood: Elly De La Cruz – Triston McKenzie has a horrendous skill set against left-handed batters as he continues to pitch through a ligament tear in his elbow. He has managed just a 17.3% K rate with 10.5% walks and a .205 ISO with just 31% ground balls against lefties. Elly De La Cruz is getting all of his power against righties, with a 14.3% barrel rate and .237 ISO in addition to all the stolen base upside.
squirrelpatrol: Aaron Judge – My Judge call didn’t work out yesterday as the Yankees found a way to cool him off by keeping him out of the lineup, but I’m going back to the well today. Judge has an absurd 1.078 SLG% and .644 wOBA over the past 30 days and is hitting on the road in the stadium with the 3rd-best MLB Park Factor for hitters over the past 3 years, on a day WeatherEdge is giving a 19.4% bump to HRs.
stevietpfl: Ketel Marte – Marte continues to be one of the best hitters in baseball against left-handed pitching. Marte has a .392 ISO with a .484 wOBA and an 11.5% strikeout rate against left-handed pitching this season. Suarez has been awful this season, and I don’t expect him to pitch deep into the game. The Angels are a bottom-5 bullpen and Marte is a switch hitter that has upside from both sides of the plate.
boggslite: Ketel Marte – Leading off for one of the most potent lineups in MLB, Marte has enormous upside at a premium position and should be rostered with confidence against a weak lefty in Jose Suarez and a bad Angels bullpen.
eys819: Christian Walker – He gets a matchup against lefty Jose Suarez, who has been awful this season. Suarez is backed up by one of the worst bullpens in the league. Walker owns a .211 ISO versus LHP in his career. He should fly under the radar a bit on such a massive slate, and I will have significantly more exposure than the field.
