MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, September 3rd
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
CheeseIsGood: Aaron Judge
Bobby Gomes: Bobby Witt Jr.
Stevietpfl: Willy Adames
boggslite: Aaron Judge
Who is your favorite hitter (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
CheeseIsGood: Ramon Laureano – It is no trouble at all to find elite bats to spend on with the likes of Aaron Judge and the Dodgers leading the way. Adding Chris Sale into the mix, salary becomes a priority on this slate, so I’ll be looking for value bats to sneak into the primary pool. Laureano’s only issue against lefties has been strikeouts, and that is not a big concern against the low Ks of Kyle Freeland. When Laureano hits the ball, he has a massive 15.7% barrel rate with a .256 ISO this season. He should be in the middle of the lineup for one of the top offenses on the slate, and I’ll play him in any format on any site where I need the savings.
Bobby Gomes: Marcell Ozuna – It’s another slate and another opportunity to pick on LHP Kyle Freeland. Behind Chris Sale, the Braves will provide run support against a guy who is touting over a 7.00 ERA on the road, fanning only 17% of the batters he’s faced. With some big names on the slate, Ozuna’s price/matchup/upside will fit my builds without making it impossible to use him.

Stevietpfl: Marcell Ozuna – Ozuna has struggled with strikeouts against left-handed pitching this season. When he makes contact, it’s hard and he has a lot of power. Tonight, he faces Kyle Freeland, who has an 18.6% strikeout rate against right-handed hitters this season. He also has a 15.8% whiff rate with a 7.8% swinging strike rate. He’s allowed a .215 ISO with a .368 wOBA against right-handed hitters this season. Ozuna is one of my favorite spend-up hitters on the slate.
boggslite: Jorge Soler – He hasn’t been able to replicate the same success he had last season, but Soler has historically crushed LHP and draws a great matchup against a hittable lefty in Kyle Freeland, who has not been able to limit damage to right-handed bats this season.
