MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, June 24

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

stevietpfl: Brice Turang
Notorious: James Wood (FD) / Ketel Marte (DK)
TJ Zwarych: James Wood (FD) / Ketel Marte (DK)

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stevietpfl: I’m going to focus on small-field contests. I expect the Diamondbacks, Braves, Brewers, Padres, Blue Jays, and Phillies (FD) to be popular. I want to be underweight on the Braves and Padres. I’ll mix and match the rest of these stacks with each other. For pitching, I like Shohei Ohtani as a top-end pitcher. I like Shane Drohan as a cheap SP2 on DK. I’ll mix Bryan Woo (FD), Ryan Weathers (FD), Shota Imanaga, and Gage Jump. When stacking Arizona or Milwaukee, I want lower-pOWN% plays with them.

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. We have some interesting options at SP1, but I plan to spend up on Shohei Ohtani on both sites. On DraftKings, I’ll look for value at SP2 and likely end up with Shane Drohan. When it comes to hitters, I want to be overweight on the Phillies on FanDuel (good matchup and they feel underpriced) and overweight on the Brewers on DraftKings. The biggest fade that I’m making on both sites is Joe Ryan. He’s been terrific all season, but I don’t like targeting pitchers against the Dodgers, especially when they are expected to be popular.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field tournaments, and I plan to hit the lock button on Shohei Ohtani on DK. I’ll need to save some salary outside of Ohtani, so I’ll prioritize a cheap stack like the Blue Jays while looking to some inexpensive SP2s on DK, like Shane Drohan.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
