What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stevietpfl: I’m going to be playing 1-3 lineups tonight. I only like 3–4 pitchers, and I think the hitting options are limited. With the weather in Kansas City, we are losing more bats. I’m going to focus on Hunter Greene, Cristopher Sanchez, and Jackson Jobe at pitcher. I want to be overweight on the Tigers, Blue Jays, and Yankees. I’m hoping the Yankees get overlooked facing a big name like Dylan Cease, but he’s struggling to start the season.
stlcardinals84: I will be playing 15–20 entries in the large-field tournaments. My plan is to go underweight on Hunter Greene and the Royals offense, as that could be a popular build with Greene being the top spend-up arm and the Royals being a top value stack. I prefer to go cheap at pitcher, where possible, with the likes of Grant Holmes, and I will be overweight on stacks of the Orioles and Twins.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – I’ll be spending up for bats and targeting value pitchers. I’ll play the largest possible primary stacks, and often include a secondary stack as well. I’ll be significantly overweight on Phillies stacks.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field contests, and despite their high projected ownership, I’ll be loading up on the Tigers’ lefties in Coors Field, as they’re just far too cheap. I’ll keep a really tight pitching pool as well, sticking with only Hunter Greene, Dylan Cease, Cristopher Sanchez, and Grant Holmes.
Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
