MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, March 30

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

CheeseIsGood: Just like last night, the Diamondbacks and Dodgers are the obvious chalk, and also just like last night, I prefer to eat the Diamondbacks chalk, and I’ll be willing to go underweight on the expensive Dodgers and just hope they don’t bury me. On the pitching side, I don’t see enough to like to get me off of Logan Gilbert chalk, but on DK, I’ll spread out all over the place at SP2. I’m going to have a lot of offense from teams facing semi-popular pitchers, like the Rockies, Giants, Padres.

Krayton: The Diamondbacks are in another great spot, and I will be going very overweight on them once again. Christian Walker, Lourdes Gurriel, Ketel Marte and Corbin Carroll are bats I will be overweight on. With it being early in the season, I will have a few more pitchers than usual; however, I will be overweight on Logan Gilbert and Kutter Crawford and then sprinkling in Dylan Cease and Tommy Henry.

tcsmith031: This slate features quite a few quality high-end offenses, which is why I don’t feel compelled to eat chalk with the Diamondbacks in spite of a terrific matchup against Austin Gomber. The Dodgers are obvious, but teams like the Yankees, Rangers, Astros, and Cubs offer significant upside at what will likely be a fraction of the ownership Arizona is projected to get.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll look to use as many cheap pitchers as possible to pay up for the Diamondbacks, Dodgers, and other expensive stacks on the slate. Kutter Crawford and Jordan Hicks will be my favorite options, but I’ll mix in some Cody Bradford and Tommy Henry as well.

Who is your top overall pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
