MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, September 30
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
STLCardinals84: We only have five teams on this slate that have anything to play for (HOU, SEA, TEX, ARI, and CHC). You are going to start to see these playoff teams be more careful with pitchers and top hitters over the last two days. For that reason, I am going to temper my expectations for a team like the Dodgers (as Atlanta still seems to be going all out with their bats for whatever reason). I am also going to completely fade Spencer Strider and Clayton Kershaw, as this is their final tune-up before the playoffs, and I wouldn’t expect more than 5 innings for either.
Krayton: I am really narrowing down my pitching pool, going with Luis Castillo at the top and Kutter Crawford or Drew Rom for my favorite cheap value on both DK and FD. For stacks, I will continue to be overweight on Atlanta, and I really like the Coors game as a full game stack. Even though Colorado has been bad, I like them to put up a bunch of runs, and I will be doing a build or two with a complete game stack of MIN / COL.
TJ Zwarych: Luis Castillo, Michael Wacha, Justin Verlander, Kutter Crawford and Drew Rom will be the entirety of my pitching pool tonight. Castillo is definitely the top option, as Seattle jockeys for playoff position with Rom and Crawford being my two favorite cheap options. Wacha and Verlander will remain in the pool too, but I’ll prioritize Wacha more, as Verlander is picking up significant ownership.
tcsmith031: I don’t think we need to mess around with pitching tonight. I’ll be paying up for either Luis Castillo or Spencer Strider while punting with Drew Rom on multi-pitcher sites. That could be the popular approach, but there are enough quality stacks out there to make it easy enough to go off the board with bats. I don’t mind taking a flier on Drew Rom as a pivot in a few lineups away from Daniel, especially given the projected ownership gulf between the two.
