Million Dollar Musings: MLB DFS Picks Today for Friday 6/12

Whether you are looking for the top pitchers or the best stacks, Dave Potts (aka CheeseIsGood) has you covered with an extensive deep dive into his MLB DFS picks today. Cheese, one of the preeminent baseball minds in all of fantasy sports and a winner of a $1,000,000 1st-place prize on both DraftKings and FanDuel, is here to muse about the June 12, 2026 MLB DFS slate.
Happy Friday! We have a massive 13-game slate, and I’ll start by telling you that it is a horrifying mess. We have one very clear and obvious best pitcher who is priced accordingly, and we have one very clear and obvious best offense that is priced accordingly. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a slate with this many games that has such a gargantuan chasm between the top plays and everything else. It’s pretty wild. I am going to do my best to find some other things to like on both sides, but the truth of this slate is that is pure dart-throwing beyond the MizA’s.
Friday Pitching: MLB DFS Picks on DraftKings and FanDuel

I’m going to include everything from $7,800 and up on DK as the top tier, but really, this is two tiers. It’s the Misiorowski Tier and then all of the other people.
TOP TIER PITCHING
- Jacob Misiorowski vs. Phillies – 38.4% K, 7.3% BB, 1.50 ERA, 2.29 SIERA
- Joe Ryan vs. Cardinals – 27.3% K, 5.2% BB, 3.07 ERA, 3.26 SIERA
- Shane McClanahan at Angels – 23.9% K, 8.5% BB, 2.85 ERA, 3.89 SIERA
- Ryan Weathers at Blue Jays – 27.7% K, 7% BB, 3.86 ERA, 3.31 SIERA
- Nolan McLean vs. Braves – 27.4% K, 9% BB, 3.98 ERA, 3.53 SIERA
- Landen Roupp vs. Cubs – 26.3% K, 10.2% BB, 4.00 ERA, 3.74 SIERA
- Trey Yesavage vs. Yankees – 25.4% K, 11% BB, 3.16 ERA, 4.11 SIERA
- Sonny Gray vs. Rangers – 18.9% K, 6.9% BB, 3.20 ERA, 4.11 SIERA
- Roki Sasaki at White Sox – 24.3% K, 8.5% BB, 4.03 ERA, 3.84 SIERA
- Shane Baz vs. Padres – 19.9% K, 9.1% BB, 4.09 ERA, 4.47 SIERA
Jacob Misiorowski is so much better than everyone else that he deserves to be $2,000 more expensive than the next-closest arm on DK. FD probably undershot his salary a bit ($11,300), while DK’s $12,000 is about right, though it could be higher and still be justifiable. This dude has 30+ DK points in 7 straight starts. If you take the other pitchers who are above $8,000, all 9 of them combined have just 7 starts of 30+ DK points all season. The Miz is The Nuts. Matchup is not relevant at all for him; it’s only a matter of if you can find the salary for him. Let’s just look at everyone else and see what we find, but I will tell you that my initial thought is that he’s worth prioritizing.
