Million Dollar Musings: MLB DFS Picks Today for Friday 6/19

Whether you are looking for the top pitchers or the best stacks, Dave Potts (aka CheeseIsGood) has you covered with an extensive deep dive into his MLB DFS picks today. Cheese, one of the preeminent baseball minds in all of fantasy sports and a winner of a $1,000,000 1st-place prize on both DraftKings and FanDuel, is here to muse about the June 19, 2026 MLB DFS slate.
Happy Friday! We’ve got a big-boy slate of 12 games, featuring the best pitcher in the universe, Coors Field, West Sacramento, multiple aces at pitcher, both the Dodgers and Yankees in great matchups…and that’s just scratching the surface. I’m going to work to narrow things down to a primary pool on both sides, but there are a ton of ways to go. Let’s see what happens!
Friday Pitching: MLB DFS Picks on DraftKings and FanDuel

Jacob Misiorowski is in a tier of his own, but we’ve got plenty of other very good pitchers that give us options in how we can spend our salary.
TOP TIER PITCHING
- Jacob Misiorowski at Braves – 39.8% K, 6.7% BB, 1.34 ERA, 2.14 SIERA
- Cam Schlittler vs. Reds – 27.7% K, 5.2% BB, 1.82 ERA, 3.13 SIERA
- Jacob deGrom vs. Padres – 29.2% K, 4.9% BB, 3.17 ERA, 3.09 SIERA
- Jose Soriano at A’s – 25.6% K, 11.7% BB, 2.79 ERA, 4.01 SIERA
- Landen Roupp at Marlins – 26.2% K, 10.2% BB, 4.24 ERA, 3.78 SIERA
- Michael Soroka vs. Twins – 24% K, 5.2% BB, 3.11 ERA, 3.56 SIERA
- Bryce Miller vs. Red Sox – 28.8% K, 4% BB, 1.54 ERA, 2.89 SIERA
- Ranger Suarez at Mariners – 24.5% K, 7.3% BB, 3.21 ERA, 3.74 SIERA
- Roki Sasaki vs. Orioles – 23.7% K, 8.9% BB, 4.76 ERA, 3.98 SIERA
I’m not sure what else to say about Jacob Misiorowski. He’s just so much better than everyone else right now, it’s hard to even comprehend. If you rank pitchers who have thrown over 50 IP this season by K-BB%, the gap between him and the #2 pitcher is as big as the gap between #2 and #24. Nobody ever doubted the stuff or the strikeout upside, but the fact that he’s been able to reign in his control this early in his career along with it is simply unfair. At some point, he’ll have a random bad game, but it would be silly to expect anything other than him being unhittable and the best pitcher on the slate by a wide margin. There are plenty of good pitchers at far lower salaries, so of course there are cases to be made to fade him, but I don’t see much reason to overthink it. This is especially true on FD, where they are still pricing him at just $11,200, which is in the range that far lesser pitchers are on most slates. DK has him more appropriately priced at $12,500, making the decision a little tougher. We’ll loop back around to how highly we need to prioritize him after looking at the rest of the slate.
