Happy Thursday! We’ve got a slower day, with the main slates being slightly different between the sites. FD is starting early at 6:20 PM ET to include a couple extra games, while DK is starting at 7:07 PM ET with just a 4-game slate. I’ll talk through all of those evening games and do the best I can to sort out the differences between the sites.

Thursday Pitching: MLB DFS Picks on FanDuel & DraftKings
The sites are wildly different at the top of the pitching pool, with Zack Wheeler and Corbin Burnes in the mix on FD only. That leaves Jack Flaherty in a tier of his own on DK, while FD is a tougher choice.
TOP TIER TRIO, OR UNO ON DK
Zack Wheeler vs. Marlins – 27.2% K, 7.4% BB, 2.73 ERA, 3.42 SIERA
Jack Flaherty at Angels – 33.3% K, 4% BB, 2.92 ERA, 2.40 SIERA
Corbin Burnes vs. Rangers – 23.9% K, 6.1% BB, 2.35 ERA, 3.55 SIERA
I would still make the argument that Zack Wheeler is the best real-life pitcher in the game right now. But for DFS purposes, he’s merely great. He always has a long leash with innings upside, but while we have seen plenty of big strikeout games, they aren’t always there. This matchup with Miami is great for his usual run prevention, and I would be more than happy to play him in any lineup on any site in any contest. However, he’s not the only ace on this slate…
