Pitcher Grind Down
- Odrisamer Despaigne – Despaigne may have to throw a complete game shutout if he is going to pick up a win tonight. With Kershaw on the mound and the worse offense in baseball at his back, Despaigne is an easy pitcher to avoid. Not to mention the bad matchup against the Dodgers who are ranked 4th in wOBA against RH pitching. Rating = 2
Salaries: $ FD, $NA DS, $NA DD, $NA DK, $NA FF, $NA SS, $NA FTD
- Clayton Kershaw – If you are playing the night slate, you should do everything in your power to get Kershaw in your lineups. The good news for us is that the sites have all increased his price so his percentage of ownership won’t be through the roof. It may sound crazy, but I think he’s worth the hefty price tag. He’s the best pitcher in baseball and he’s facing the worst offense in baseball. I see 7+ innings, 7+ K’s, and a win as his floor. Rating = 100
Salaries: $12000 FD, $30505 DS, $22800 DD, $13400 DK, $170000 FF, $33000 SS, $21250 FTD

Adrian Gonzalez – Gonzalez has a .365 wOBA against RH pitching this season and a decent matchup against the rookie Despaigne.

Pitcher Grind Down
- Yohan Pino – Pino is cheap and has a nice matchup against the Mariners. If you are looking to target Clayton Kershaw on multi-pitcher sites, taking Pino as a #2 or #3 starter may not be the worst idea. The Mariners have struggled to score runs in this series and are ranked 19th in wOBA against RH pitching. Rating = 5
Salaries: $5200 FD, $7606 DS, $9300 DD, $5500 DK, $59900 FF, $13000 SS, $8400 FTD
- Tom Wilhelmsen – Wilhelmsen has been in the bullpen his entire career (some time spend as being the M’s closer), but will draw his first career start tonight. He’s not available on most sites and is not expected to last more than a few innings. Rating = 3

Minnesota
Brian Dozier – It’s hard to gauge the potential for a player when he’ll likely only face the starter Wilhelmsen once or twice, but Dozier had a nice game last night and has good speed (15 SB’s) and good power (16 HR’s).
Additional Plays: Josh Willingham
Seattle
Robinson Cano – Robbie Cano draws a nice matchup tonight against Pino. The sample size is small, but Pino has given up a .339 wOBA to LH hitters this season.
Additional Plays: Kyle Seager
