Looking at the MLB weather report, it could be a fun night for bettors who enjoy hitter props. There are warm temperatures forecast in Cincinnati and Atlanta, and there are plenty of games scheduled to be played indoors, which means no adverse conditions for hitters on Friday. As always, keep an eye on the weather ahead of first pitch.
Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Friday, April 24th!
Best MLB Player Props for Friday, April 24th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Friday, April 24th:
- Gunnar Henderson Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Juan Soto Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Bobby Witt Jr. Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Gunnar Henderson OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-145, BetMGM)
Henderson has struggled of late, with only a .103 batting average across his last 43 plate appearances. That said, he still has a 48% hard-hit rate in that span, which is well above the league average. Tonight, he gets to face Brayan Bello, who has struggled to a 6.70 FIP and 2.11 WHIP across the platoon to begin 2026. This is a great spot for Henderson to break out of his mini-slump.
Juan Soto OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-133, DraftKings)
Soto has only 1 hit in 9 trips to the plate since being activated from the injured list, but he’s been on base 4 times, indicating that he’s still seeing the ball well. His opponent tonight, Michael Lorenzen, has struggled to a 6.46 FIP and 2.48 WHIP across the platoon to begin the new campaign. This could be a great spot for Soto to make some noise at the plate, especially with Colorado’s arm also in poor shape to begin the weekend.
Bobby Witt Jr. OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-156, DraftKings)
Following a slow start to the year, Witt is starting to heat up at the plate. He has a .375 batting average and 163 wRC+ since April 19, with an impressive 64.3% hard-hit rate in that span. His opponent tonight, Yusei Kikuchi, has struggled to a 1.64 WHIP across the platoon to date this season. There should be opportunities for Witt to produce.
