Major League Baseball has 15 games on tap to begin the weekend, all of which are scheduled for a 6:40 p.m. ET first pitch or later.
As always, it’s important to keep an eye on the MLB weather report before committing to any wagers. There are some cooler temperatures forecast for San Diego and San Francisco tonight, which could be a boon for pitching in those ballparks.
Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Friday, July 10th!
Best MLB Player Props for Friday, July 10th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Friday, July 10th:
- Colt Keith Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Kyle Schwarber Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Shohei Ohtani Over/Under 0.5 Stolen Bases
Colt Keith OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-108, Novig)
Keith doesn’t have eye-popping numbers in 2026, but it’s worth noting that he’s being entrusted to hit in the 2-hole tonight. He will get to face Aaron Nola, who has struggled to a 5.40 FIP and 1.63 WHIP across the platoon this season. Keith doesn’t walk at a particularly high rate, which makes him a good bet to put a few balls in play from an advantageous position in the Detroit lineup. This is good value.
Kyle Schwarber OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-118, BetMGM)
Schwarber has been one of the league’s most productive hitters this season, and tonight, gets a favorable matchup against Jack Flaherty. Flaherty has struggled to a 4.26 FIP and 1.59 WHIP across the platoon this year. A high walk rate is usually a risk factor with these types of hitter props, but Schwarber has a pair of LHB behind him in tonight’s lineup, so his chances of scoring a run are decent. A simple base hit or sacrifice fly could be enough to get the job done for us.
Shohei Ohtani UNDER 0.5 Stolen Bases (-1400, DraftKings)
This is obviously an extremely juiced line, but it probably shouldn’t be offered in the first place. Ohtani was scratched from tonight’s start as a pitcher and will reportedly “have some interventions” on his knee during the All-Star Break to get him some relief for the second half of the campaign. It’s possible that Ohtani could pick up a stolen base as a trail runner on a double steal, but the more likely scenario here is that he has a hard red light in any situation in which he has a base open in front of him.
