There are 14 MLB games on tap for Friday evening, beginning with the Rockies against the Tigers at 6:40 pm ET.
It’s always important to keep an eye on the MLB weather report before committing to any wagers. The forecast looks favorable for pitchers in San Francisco tonight and favorable for hitters in Sacramento. None of the other cities hosting games should be significantly impacted by the elements.
Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Friday, September 11th!
Best MLB Player Props for Friday, September 11th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Friday, September 11th:
- Blake Snell Over/Under 17.5 Outs Recorded
- Chris Sale Over/Under 18.5 Outs Recorded
- Corey Seager Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Blake Snell OVER 17.5 Outs Recorded (-174, FanDuel)
The Dodgers have a rested arm barn here, which is potentially why the market is offering a slight discount on this prop. Manager Dave Roberts hasn’t been overly eager to use his relievers at any point in 2026, and that isn’t likely to change on Friday simply because the team had yesterday off.
Snell has completed 6+ innings in 4 of 5 starts since being activated from the injured list, throwing 99+ pitches in each of his last 2 turns through the rotation. Snell should have every opportunity to record 18 outs.
Chris Sale UNDER 18.5 Outs Recorded (-165, BetMGM)
This is a hyper-proximity matchup for Sale, who has been dominant but not efficient with his pitch counts in 2026. Philadelphia has also been one of the league’s better offenses against southpaws recently, ranking 7th in wRC+ and 2nd in batting average during the last 30 days.
Atlanta’s arm barn is extremely rested, and this series has major NL East implications, so 6 innings feels like a probable landing spot for Sale.
Corey Seager OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-134, DraftKings)
During the last 30 days, Merrill Kelly has struggled to a 6.59 FIP and 1.78 WHIP across the platoon. He’s walked more batters than he’s struck out and allowed a lot of quality contact in the air.
Seager has been on a tear to begin September, with a 163 wRC+ and .278 batting average in 9 games. He should have chances to make an impact.
