Monday’s MLB slate features 9 games, beginning at 6:40 p.m. ET with the Tigers against the Rays. There are a number of notable pitchers scheduled to be on the bump this evening, including Sandy Alcantara, Chase Burns, Joe Ryan, and Jacob deGrom.

As always, make sure to keep an eye on the MLB weather report before committing to any wagers. The forecasted temperatures look relatively neutral for today’s action, but wind could play a factor in a few different ballparks.

Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Monday, June 1st!

Best MLB Player Props for Monday, June 1st

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Monday, June 1st:

Griffin Jax OVER 14.5 Outs Recorded (-159, Novig)

Jax exited his start last Tuesday after only 2 innings, but that was a consequence of him being hit by a comebacker on the mound more than anything else. Prior to that outing, Jax had completed 5 innings in each of his prior two trips to the mound, facing 20 batters against the Blue Jays and 18 batters against the Orioles.

Tampa Bay is stretching out Jax to use as a starter for the remainder of the 2026 campaign. Thus, Plan A is to get Jax through at least 5 innings each time he takes the ball. If Jax is relatively effective on Monday, he should have every opportunity to record 15 outs.

Landen Roupp UNDER 17.5 Outs Recorded (-145, BetMGM)

Roupp has faced 23+ batters in each of his last 3 turns through San Francisco’s rotation, but he’s only managed to complete 6 innings once in that span. Roupp doesn’t have terrible platoon splits, but San Francisco has 3 southpaws in their arm barn, which gives the team options to create same-sided matchups if needed later in the game.

San Francisco hasn’t been shy about limiting Roupp’s exposure to lineups for a third time – and possibly for good reason. Roupp has seen his strikeout% plummet from 28.3% the second time through a lineup to 18% when hitters get a third look at him. His WHIP has also increased from 1.15 to 1.37. Milwaukee routinely has 3 lefties in the top 5 of their batting order, which means multiple opportunities for San Francisco to go to their arm barn in the 6th inning. This is decent value.

Emmet Sheehan UNDER 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed (-165, Hard Rock)

Sheehan endured a rough start to the 2026 campaign, but he has been better of late, with a 3.28 xERA, 3.75 FIP, and 1.11 WHIP across his last 4 turns in the rotation. During that span, he has a healthy 27.1% strikeout rate and has shown good command, evident from his 5.9% walk rate.

Sheehan doesn’t have a particularly effective arsenal to attack lefties, but Arizona typically has 4+ righties in their lineup, which should give him opportunities to escape jams if he finds himself in trouble. The big key here will be keeping the ball in the yard when facing the top of Arizona’s lineup.
