Happy Monday! Major League Baseball has 8 games on tap, including the Las Vegas debut for the Athletics.
A reminder that bettors need to be extra mindful of today’s MLB weather report before committing to any wagers. We could see some extremely hitter-friendly conditions in a few different spots, such as Cleveland, where it is forecast to be above 90 degrees at first pitch.
Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Monday, June 8th!
Best MLB Player Props for Monday, June 8th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:35 PM ET on Monday, June 8th:
- Emerson Hancock Over/Under 16.5 Outs Recorded
- Patrick Corbin Over/Under 5.5 Hits Allowed
- Kyle Harrison Over/Under 16.5 Outs Recorded
Emerson Hancock OVER 16.5 Outs Recorded (-127, DraftKings)
Hancock hasn’t faced more than 22 batters in a game since May 8th, but that trend could come to an end tonight. Seattle used 5 relievers on Sunday, which has their arm barn in suboptimal shape heading into the new week. Jose Ferrer, Eduard Bazardo, and Gabe Speier have each been used in 2 of the last 3 days as well.
Seattle will likely continue to look for spots to manage Hancock’s workload this summer, but this probably isn’t one of those times. Hancock is on extended rest here, with the team giving Bryce Miller and Luis Castillo their own starts against Detroit over the weekend. If Hancock is reasonably effective, he should be given an opportunity to get outs in the 6th inning.
Patrick Corbin UNDER 5.5 Hits Allowed (-149, DraftKings)
Philadelphia has a potent offense, but they do a lot of their damage via walks and home runs. During the last 14 days, they rank 24th in batting average against LHP (.224). It’s worth noting that tonight’s Phillies lineup has 5 players who have posted a .238 batting average or worse against LHP across the last month. Corbin doesn’t have great stuff, but he’s unlikely to face more than 22 batters tonight. This would require Philadelphia to hit .270 or better against him to get to 6 hits – a tall task, especially after traveling to a new city following yesterday’s action.
Kyle Harrison UNDER 16.5 Outs Recorded (-115, BetMGM)
Harrison has been among the most dominant pitchers in baseball early in the 2026 season, but he has a tough task in front of him tonight, pitching in Las Vegas against an Athletics offense that has performed well against LHP of late. The weather forecast is on the hitter-friendly side too, with temperatures expected to be in the 90s and wind blowing out. Milwaukee has a rested arm barn coming into this series. With Harrison pitching in altitude, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them be a little bit careful with his workload. It’s also a possibility that the Athletics’ bats do enough to chase Harrison from this game before he gets to 17 outs.
