Major League Baseball has 15 games on tap, with games beginning at 6:40 PM ET. There are a number of notable names scheduled to be on the bump, including Paul Skenes, Dylan Cease, Nolan McLean, Cristopher Sanchez, and Kyle Harrison. Nick Lodolo and Blake Snell will also be making their long-awaited return from the injured list for their respective teams.
As always, it’s important to keep an eye on the MLB weather report before committing to any wagers. It’s once again forecast to be on the cooler side in San Francisco, which should continue to be a boon for those pitchers.

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Tuesday, August 11th:

Jake Irvin UNDER 15.5 Outs Recorded (-195, DraftKings)
DRAFTKINGSSince the middle of May, Irvin hasn’t faced more than 20 batters in any individual outing. The Nationals haven’t let him throw more than 86 pitches in that span either.
The Nationals were off yesterday, which means they have a fully-rested arm barn for tonight’s action against the Cubs. The Cubs also present a tough matchup for Irvin, as they rank 6th in wRC+ against RHP during the last month.
The Cubs are one of the more patient offenses in baseball, which should contribute to some deep counts here too. The Nationals have no shortage of relief options ready to go as needed. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Irvin be a 5-and-dive guy tonight.
Cody Bradford UNDER 15.5 Outs Recorded (-120, bet365)
BET365Due to undergoing an internal brace procedure, Bradford didn’t pitch last season. His return to the mound this season was delayed by elbow tightness, which shut him down for 3 months before resuming his rehab program. In his last minor-league rehab outing, Bradford faced only 16 batters and threw only 56 pitches. In his return to the MLB mound on August 5th, he faced 20 batters and threw 70 pitches across 4.1 innings.
Bradford could see the 6th inning tonight if he’s efficient, but the more probable outcome is for him to be a 5-and-dive, especially with Cal Quantrill and other rested relievers in the Texas arm barn. Texas is unlikely to force the issue with Bradford’s workload here.
Kyle Harrison OVER 14.5 Outs Recorded (-166, DraftKings)
DRAFTKINGSIn his return from the injured list last week, Harrison threw 69 pitches and faced 16 batters, but he would have continued in that game if not for cramping issues. Tonight, he should be good for around 80 pitches and 20 batters faced, which should give him ample opportunity to get through 5 innings against a San Diego offense that has struggled against LHP in recent weeks.
