Cristopher Sanchez u4.5 Hits Allowed (-170), DraftKings
Cristopher Sanchez has thrown nine pitches across the last 25 days. Simply, it is nearly impossible to imagine a situation in which Sanchez somehow is left in this game long enough to allow five hits, especially after Jon Morosi’s report that Taijuan Walker is available as a bulk reliever behind Sanchez. Matt Strahm was not used yesterday, who is also available to cover multiple innings for Philadelphia out of the bullpen. Nothing is ever a lock, but this is perhaps the most mispriced prop of the postseason to date.
Cristopher Sanchez u1.5 Walks Allowed (-165), BetMGM
In his last 41.0 innings of work, spanning 165 batters faced, Cristopher Sanchez has allowed four walks total. During the regular season, Sanchez ranked in the 98th percentile in walk rate among qualified starters. Rust is obviously a major concern for someone who has not pitched in a live baseball game since September, but this is at least worth a small stab against an Arizona offense that ranked 21st in walk rate against left-handed pitching during the regular season. This market number would be more appropriate if listed at over/under 0.5 walks.

Jordan Montgomery Less Than 4.0 Strikeouts, PrizePicks
During the regular season, no team stuck out less often against left-handed pitching than the Houston Astros. In Game 1, Jordan Montgomery had Houston’s number, but the hyper-proximity matchup is a much tougher spot for the starting pitcher than the offense. Montgomery could also be on a shorter leash tonight, with a scheduled off-day tomorrow before the team heads back to Houston for Game 6. This is not a spot in which Montgomery projects well.
