Still, eight of tonight’s games have a scheduled first pitch of 8:05 p.m. EST or later, meaning that the betting community has plenty of time to find a few plays to their liking before the action begins.

MLB Player Props Today

Masataka Yoshida u0.5 Strikeouts (-130), DraftKings

On Monday, Masataka Yoshida made contact each time he stepped in the batter’s box, cashing us out to start the new week! We are simply running things back with him again on Tuesday. Bryce Miller has high-end strikeout stuff, but has struggled across the platoon in his rookie year. Facing right-handed batters, Miller has a 28.4% strikeout rate, compared to an 18.5% strikeout rate against left-handed batters. Yoshida, a high-contact, left-handed hitter, is in a good position to avoid a strikeout again this evening.

Luis Matos u0.5 Strikeouts (-130), DraftKings

Across his last 20 games played, Luis Matos only has a strikeout in three separate contests. Tonight, he draws a tough matchup against Zac Gallen, but the betting community simply has no choice but to keep running things back at this market price. Since July 7, Matos has struck out in an incomprehensibly-low 5.9% of his plate appearances. Trust him to get the job done for us again tonight.

MLB DFS Pick’em

Jose Ramirez Less than 0.5 Hitter Strikeouts, PrizePicks

Entering play on Tuesday, Jose Ramirez has struck out in each of his last three games played. It is only the third time all season that Ramirez has struck out in three consecutive games, and none of the previous streaks extended to four games. Ramirez has struck out in only 12.0% of his plate appearances this year against left-handed pitching, making him a trustworthy option in this spot against Framber Valdez, who has much more strikeout success against left-handed batters than he does across the platoon.
