MLB Player Props Today
- Aaron Nola u7.5 Strikeouts
- Fernando Tatis o1.5 Total Bases
- Luis Matos less than 0.5 Hitter Strikeouts
Aaron Nola u7.5 Strikeouts (-155), DraftKings
The Atlanta Braves have a reputation for being a high swing-and-miss offense, but only the Washington Nationals and Cleveland Guardians have struck out less frequently against right-handed pitching during the month of June. According to props.cash, each of the last eight right-handed starters to face the Braves has recorded fewer than eight punchouts. Each of the last five right-handed starters have gone under their pre-game market number for strikeouts. Simply, Atlanta has made life very difficult for opposing pitchers of late. Expect Nola to go under his market number this evening.
Fernando Tatis o1.5 Total Bases (-105), BetMGM
Fernando Tatis has been on a tear of late, recording at least two total bases in nine of his last 11 road games played. Since June 1, Tatis has recorded multiple total bases in all six of his games played on the road. Tonight, he gets a favorable matchup against Ryan Walker, who has allowed a .256 opponent batting average to right-handed hitters in a small sample size at the big league level this year. Trust Tatis to get the job done here once again.
MLB DFS Pick’em
Luis Matos less than 0.5 Hitter Strikeouts, PrizePicks
Last night, Luis Matos struck out for the first time in his young big league career. We have no reservations about running things back again on this play on Wednesday, with almost the exact same read as yesterday. In his minor league playing time, Matos showed a mature approach at the plate, including extremely high contact rates at every stop along the way, including a 6.9% strikeout rate at Triple-A in 2023 earlier this year. We trust him to put the ball in play each time he steps in the box this evening.
