On Monday night, the baseball community will be treated to 11 games, beginning at 6:40 p.m. EST on the east coast. Two of those contests have a scheduled first pitch of 9:38 p.m. EST or later, giving bettors plenty of time to find action to their liking to start the new week.

We cashed a +758 parlay on Thursday, thanks to some timely hitting from the Los Angeles Dodgers! On Friday, we fell one total base short of going back-to-back on our longshot parlays. On Saturday, we were one strikeout away from cashing +1057. On Sunday Night Baseball, we cashed a +837 parlay thanks to a late home run from Mookie Betts.

Not counting the All-Star Game, we have cashed seven tickets in this article, narrowly missed 22 winners, and had 17 tickets seemingly dead on arrival. Playing longshot parlays each day, these results are within the parameters of what is expected. As we highlight daily, these plays have been exceptionally profitable if played as individual tickets.

In this article, we never post a ticket with shorter than +700 odds, meaning that we only need to hit once each week to be profitable. Overall, these plays are 76-58-1 (56.7%) if played as straight wagers, many of which have been significant alt-lines, even as individual tickets.

Below, we break down our favorite longshot (+711) look for August 7, focusing on today’s matchup between the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Angels!

MLB Parlay Piece for August 7, 2023

San Francisco Giants Moneyline (-124)

Somehow, the San Francisco Giants suffered back-to-back losses to the Oakland Athletics over the weekend after having won seven of their previous nine contests. Tonight, they get a chance to get back in the win column against the slumping Los Angeles Angels, which have each of their last six games. At nearly even-money, the Giants are the better side in this spot.

Logan Webb 6+ Strikeouts (-194)

According to props.cash, Logan Webb has hit this market number 13 times in 23 starts this year. Tonight, he has an extremely favorable matchup against the Los Angeles Angels, which rank 28th in strikeout percentage against right-handed pitching since July 15. Of the last 13 right-handed starters to face the Angels, 10 have recorded at least six strikeouts, and none have recorded fewer than five strikeouts. This is a worthwhile inclusion in today’s longshot parlay.

Patrick Sandoval 7+ Strikeouts (+186)

Since June 30th, three of the seven southpaw starting pitchers to face the San Francisco Giants have amassed at least seven strikeouts in a single start. Overall, the Giants rank 27th in strikeout percentage against left-handed pitching since July 15th – putting them in the same tier as the Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, and Seattle Mariners, each of which Sandoval has recorded seven strikeouts against in the last two months. Sandoval could be in for a great start to the week on the bump in this favorable matchup.
