We have cashed 11 tickets since debuting this article and only narrowly missed another 30 winners. Playing longshot parlays each day, there will be big winners, but there will always be days in which it was more profitable to play each leg as an individual wager. As we highlight each day in this piece, these plays have been most profitable played individually, even though we have been profitable with the parlay odds as well.
In this article, we never post a ticket with shorter than +700 odds, meaning that we only need to hit once each week to be profitable. Overall, these plays are 118-93-2 (56.6%) if played as straight wagers, many of which have been significant alt-lines, even as individual tickets.

MLB Parlay Piece for September 3, 2023
- New York Yankees Moneyline
- Michael King u4.5 Strikeouts
- Jasson Dominguez 3+ Total Bases
New York Yankees Moneyline (+116)
Everything about the New York Yankees has changed seemingly overnight since the arrival of Jasson Dominguez. Aaron Judge talked about the giddiness of showing up to the ballpark after their most recent player promotion. The good vibes, for lack of a more analytical term, have resulted in back-to-back wins for the Pinstripes. Tonight, they will go for a series sweep as they try to inch their way back to the .500 mark. They have a starting pitching advantage in this one, giving them good value at plus money.
Michael King u4.5 Strikeouts (-164)
According to props.cash, an astounding 11 consecutive right-handed starting pitchers have gone under their pregame market number for strikeouts against the Houston Astros. Tonight, Michael King is likely to make it 12 in a row given that he has not faced more than 15 batters in a game this season. Even if he is stretched out to five or six innings, he is unlikely to manage five punchouts in this matchup.
Jasson Dominguez 3+ Total Bases (+200)
Cristian Javier has struggled to a 5.12 FIP, 1.54 WHIP, and allowed a .282 opponent batting average to left-handed hitters in 2023. Tonight, he will have to contend with Jasson Dominguez, who has already homered off of a right-handed pitcher in his very brief big league tenure. Dominguez had a 1.139 OPS against right-handed pitching at Triple-A prior to being promoted. At +200, this is a worthwhile inclusion in today’s longshot parlay.
