Since receivers Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen called out their 84-million quarterback after a Week 4 loss to the Bears, the Vikings have gone 6-1. The rise of Kirk Cousins has turned what once looked like a one-dimensional offense into one of the most prolific offenses in the league, even without their no. 1 receiver for four of the last five weeks. The Seahawks have had a smooth season to date, winning nine of their first 11 games. As for me, I’m sticking with the hot hand of Kirk Cousins and the lethal running game of Dalvin Cook. Minnesota’s defense, led by head coach Mike Zimmer, hasn’t been as stout as we expected, but the Vikings defensive line should be able to get the best of Seattle in the trenches. The Seahawks offensive line is allowing pressure on Russell Wilson on 40% of pass plays (31st) , resulting in an 8% Sack% (25th), and keeping their MVP candidate clean a league-worst 57.63% of the time. That doesn’t bode well against a defensive line that ranks in the top-third of each of those categories. Granted, Wilson has proven that Seattle can still win even while allowing pressure to the quarterback, but the matchup Monday night is similar to the two matchups Seattle lost.
