NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, March 20

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Julius Randle
Dean78904: Jayson Tatum
ncorfield8k: Deni Avdija

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I’ll be in the small-field and single-entry streets. We don’t have a ton of value on the slate, so I expect to roll out a balanced build unless we get some late-breaking news. My favorite two spots to target are the Wolves and Pistons, who are both missing their best players. I’m going to be overweight on both of these teams.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. I expect to have at least one Celtic, Piston, and Timberwolf in every lineup I make. Jalen Duren is questionable. If he is unable to play, Paul Reed would become one of the best values on the slate and someone I’d likely lock into all my lineups. The other part of that is it would make Draymond Green and Kristaps Porzingis more playable with Detroit seeing a hit defensively, opening the door for a potential game stack.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – With all games on the DK slate starting within 30 minutes, we might have all the news we are going to get before lock. I’ll look for anything that changes but otherwise will just lean into rotation and role uncertainty. Primarily, this means playing pieces on the Pistons and Wolves, who are projecting for low ownership.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
