What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. On FanDuel, I want to take advantage of the Warriors’ injury situation and matchup, so I will be keeping roster spots open until we get news on Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler (I’m hoping it’s after lock). On DraftKings, I want as much exposure to the Bulls as I can get. With Josh Giddey and Coby White out the last 2 games, we’ve seen ceiling games from Tre Jones, Matas Buzelis, Jalen Smith, Isaac Okoro, and Nikola Vucevic. They have a solid matchup at home against the Hornets.
Krayton: I will be playing mostly single-entry contests along with 20-max contests on both sites. It feels like New Year’s Day, when the Bulls were the popular plays with Josh Giddey and Coby White out, and I will once again look to be overweight on the Bulls, specifically Matas Buzelis, Jalen Smith, and Tre Jones. I plan on having one of Deni Avdija or Jalen Johnson in my lineups as well.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs in addition to throwing my cash lineup in a couple small single-entry tournaments. I plan to get significantly overweight on both the Bulls and Blazers while basically ignoring Houston and Dallas. On FD, I’ll likely ignore the late games unless multiple players are ruled out from UTA/GSW.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
