What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

tcsmith031: I like smaller slates for MME, so I’ll play some 150-max contests on DraftKings. Ryan Rollins is a terrific play assuming he starts in place of Damian Lillard again, but I don’t mind pivoting some of that ownership to roll the dice on guys like Gary Trent Jr., Taurean Prince, or Kevin Porter Jr. in larger-field GPPs. Rollins is likely the safest play of the bunch in his starting role, but he may see outsized ownership as a result.

Krayton: I really like the smaller slates for single-entry contests, as there is typically quite a bit of chalk, and we usually see some higher-priced guys go lower owned, which I love to target. Guys like Trae Young, Josh Giddey, Coby White, Nikola Vucevic, and OG Anunoby are spend-up options I like quite a bit. I definitely want to be over the field on NYK, especially with Jalen Brunson still out and with the elite matchup they get against WAS.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments. With just four games on this slate, I’ll lean into game stacks and allow for more than three players from a team in my lineups.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll focus on large-field contests, and as scary as it is, I’m going to try and be underweight on the first game of the night (or at least the Warriors’ side). I still think Butler is an incredible cash play, and there are multiple players on both sides that look just fine, but I’ll be mostly targeting the last three games, with the Milwaukee Bucks being my favorite team to stack up.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
