What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll play both single- and multi-entry GPPs. All of the cheap value on DK makes it very easy to jam Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander into lineups together. I’ll do that in some builds, but I also expect it to be a pretty popular approach. Paying up for one of them and balancing out the rest of the build could be a more unique construction in some contests. With the Pacers offering so much value, I may also set a rule to run it back with at least one Memphis player in every lineup that includes at least two Indiana pieces.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry and 20-entry max contests on both sites tonight. There is quite a bit of value on both sites, making it fairly easy to get at least two big spends in your lineup. I expect both Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to be played together quite a bit, and on FanDuel, I like the idea of playing one of the value centers in Ryan Kalkbrenner or Dominick Barlow and then spending up for guys like Tyrese Maxey, Trae Young, Jamal Murray and Pascal Siakam. I like the same approach on DK by playing both the cheap center options together and then spending up on lower-owned stars.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll likely just play one lineup in single-entry contests tonight, and I plan to load up on as many Indiana Pacers as I can. Pascal Siakam and Bennedict Mathurin are my top choices, but I’ll utilize the cheapies in Obi Toppin, Ben Sheppard, and Jarace Walker as well. That way, I can afford another star like Nikola Jokic or Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
