What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

tcsmith031: I’ll play some single-entry tournaments on DraftKings. The DK-only game (MEM-MIL) features a sky-high 246 total, so I want as much exposure to it as I can possibly get. The Grizzlies have enough cheap value pieces (Luke Kennard, Santi Aldama, Jaylen Wells) to make it possible to jam Jaren Jackson Jr. and Giannis Antetokounmpo into lineups together, and that’s exactly what I plan to do.

Krayton: I will be playing single-entry contests. On FD, I will be looking to be overweight on the CHI/DET game, with Coby White, Cade Cunningham, and Tobias Harris being three of the core plays I am building around. Over on DK, the MEM/MIL game is one I will have heavy exposure to, with Luke Kennard and Giannis Antetokounmpo two core pieces I am building around.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll just play one lineup in single-entry contests, with my primary focus being CHI/DET. Against Toronto the other night, we saw the Bulls smash without Zach Lavine, and although their prices have been raised, it’s nowhere near enough. Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu are my favorite options on the Bulls, but I also like mixing in Matas Buzelis and Lonzo Ball, while Cade Cunningham on the other side is my favorite spend on the slate.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
