Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. My plan of attack is to target Nikola Jokic instead of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Jokic has a higher floor/ceiling combo, the spread of the game is lower, and the Bucks are in disarray. I’m surprised we are seeing most of the projected ownership flock to Giannis.

headChopper: I am going to hand-build 20 lineups and enter them in a variety of large-field GPPs. We don’t have many, if any, 4-game slates left, so I’m going to take advantage of this. The ownership on Kevin Porter is likely going to be high, but I will be ahead of the field. There might be a few lineups where I fade him and fill that spot with another Milwaukee player, hoping to get big leverage if that player has a breakout performance and cuts into Porter’s production. I will also be ahead of the field on Nikola Jokic by a substantial margin.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – This is a slate where I’ll likely eat the value chalk and get different with my spend-ups. There are several elite studs on this slate who are projected for sub-20% ownership, and I’ll be over the field on most of them. I particularly like both Clippers stars.
