NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, March 24

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Nikola Jokic
headChopper: Nikola Jokic
ncorfield8k: Nikola Jokic

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. I was originally going to take my chances with a fade of Nikola Jokic due to a lack of value on the slate, but the Kings have ruled out Precious Achiuwa and Killian Hayes. We now have plenty of value to make Jokic work in both cash games and tournaments. My way to be different is to fade James Harden and Donovan Mitchell.

headChopper: I am playing one lineup in small-field GPPs. With only 4 games, it’s going to be tough to get different in smaller fields. Typically, that just means you need to differentiate by one player. Two of these games have a high potential to be blowouts. Orlando looked awful last night, getting beat by a tanking Pacers team, so I’m not sure they stand much chance, traveling to face a solid Cleveland team. Sacramento probably has very little chance to keep it close against a good Charlotte team. So I think the majority of my build will be focused on the other 2 games, especially the DEN/PHX matchup.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – With just 4 games and some large spreads, I’ll be leaning into game stacking. I particularly like the DEN/PHX game, which is the last game of the night, conveniently. Every other game should be over before the DEN/PHX game starts, which should make for cleaner late swapping.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
