NBA DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, May 21

DRAFTKINGS

Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

Notorious: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Derrick White
squirrelpatrol: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Haliburton
headChopper: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Pascal Siakam

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I love small-field and single-entry contests. My plan of attack is going to be getting overweight on Indiana’s bench. Obi Toppin and T.J. McConnell have both shown that they are capable of scoring 30+ fantasy points in any game. For DraftKings, I plan to be overweight on Ben Sheppard. On FanDuel, I plan to be overweight on Isaiah Jackson.

squirrelpatrol: I’ll play the largest-field contests, aiming to be over the field on Celtics (particularly Jayson Tatum) and pairing the higher-priced Celtics with Pacers value pieces. I’ll also look to avoid combinations of players who don’t share the floor often, like T.J. McConnell and Tyrese Haliburton.

headChopper: All large-field contests for me. Mainly 20 lineups in various GPPs. Because it’s going to be difficult to get different and be unique, some of those 20 lineups will have a Boston blowout build in mind. We’ve seen enough in the postseason to know what they do in blowouts. The other builds will have one of the top 3 players (Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Haliburton) locked into the top spot.

What is an example of one rule/setting that you can program into LineupHQ or SimLabs to capitalize on the above strategies?
