Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: OG Anunoby – The Knicks have a tough matchup on the road against the Spurs, and Karl-Anthony Towns is looking like the only player on the roster with significant pOWN%. With Josh Hart and Mitchell Robinson out, Anunoby should push for minutes in the high 30s. He’s coming off two of his best games of the season, where he put up 47 and 45 fantasy points.

Dean78904: Brandon Ingram – My favorite game on the board is NOP/CHI, but I also really like the DEN/TOR game. In fact, I just might stick to those 2 games in my main lineup. The Nuggets are more appealing being down 4 starters, including Nikola Jokic, so I’ll likely have multiple Denver pieces in my main lineup. That has me looking for a bring-back on Toronto. The Nuggets have the NBA’s top offense this season, which helps mask their subpar defense (10th-worst defensive efficiency), so Ingram should play 34–36 minutes in a good spot. There’s no clear and obvious choice, and this could easily turn into Immanuel Quickley depending on the build, but Ingram is the most likely Raptor to land in my lineup.

ncorfield8k: Kevin Porter Jr.Giannis Antetokounmpo has not played more than 25 minutes in a game since returning from injury, and he should remain in that range. That means more Giannis-less minutes for KPJ, who has seen a 1.8% boost in usage without Giannis this season. It’s a strong matchup with the Wizards, who rank 14th in pace and 22nd in defensive rating over the last 10 games. The Wizards are the best matchup for Combo Guards in our Defense vs. Archetype tool.
