NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, November 6
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Cade Cunningham (FD) / Nikola Jokic (DK)
Stevietpfl: Nikola Jokic
Dean78904: Luka Doncic
ncorfield8k: Jalen Brunson (FD) / LeBron James (DK)
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I will be playing small-field and single-entry tournaments. This is shaping up to be a stars-and-scrubs type of slate on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Despite Aaron Gordon, Jamal Murray, and Jaylen Brown being out, we aren’t seeing much pOWN% on Nikola Jokic or Jayson Tatum. I plan to eat a lot of the value chalk and be overweight on Jokic and Tatum.
Stevietpfl: With all the value, this is clearly a stars-and-scrubs type of build. I prefer single-entry contests and will be playing this type of build. With so many potentially great value options, I will look to be different with my stars. I’m hoping Nikola Jokic continues to be lower-owned because I think he has the highest ceiling on the slate.

Dean78904: As per usual, I don’t play a ton of lineups. I generally concentrate my builds for single-entry type of contests. There are a lot of legitimate value plays, so it is shaping up to be a stars-and-scrubs type slate, and I expect to lean into that construction. As always with the NBA, everything is subject to change based on news flow, pOWN% changes, etc., but right now, the plan is to have either Luka Doncic or Kyrie Irving in every lineup. Additionally, I’m currently planning on not playing Nikola Jokic (OKC’s defense is just so good), who I expect to grab a fair bit of ownership in single-entry contests.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – I will eat some of the chalk that I think is really good—particularly Naji Marshall on both sites and Russell Westbrook on DraftKings. I’ll offset the chalk with at least a couple of contrarian pieces in every lineup. On such large slates, they’re not hard to find. I’ll target teams in situations I like, typically in pace-up spots or against bad defenses. The Pistons don’t have a particularly high implied team total tonight, for example, but that’s because they just don’t have a great offense (21st in offensive rating). They nonetheless have an opportunity to exceed expectations tonight against a Hornets team with the worst defensive rating in the league.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
