Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I play mostly small-field and single-entry tournaments. I love slates that are large and have obvious plays because the good chalk is never quite as highly owned as it should be. I fully plan to use this to my advantage when it comes to the Pacers. They are missing so many of their key players and still have an implied team total of 109 points. My builds will all feature at least 3 Pacers.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field type of contests. The big question on this slate is trying to figure out how much is too much of the wounded Pacers. We are seeing 4-5 Pacers hitting early optimals on DK. This is fluid, but I just don’t see myself getting to 5 Pacers in a single lineup…but maybe 4? I do like the idea of stacking the game with at least one of Anthony Davis or D’Angelo Russell. I should note that I think it is easier to get away from Indy on FD than DK.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – There is a lot of fairly strong value on this slate, so I’ll have many stars-and-scrubs builds. Even with all of the cheap value on the Pacers, I’ll set a maximum of 3 in any lineup in our NBA DFS optimizer. As usual, I’ll keep my eye on the NBA injury report and our NBA starting lineups page and late swap as necessary.
