NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, March 17

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

tcsmith031: Across a 150-minute sample, Jordan Poole is boasting a 38.5% usage rate alongside a 1.46 DK FP/minute rate this season with Kyle Kuzma, Deni Avdija, and Tyus Jones off the floor. Poole may be thrust into a massive offensive role tonight with the Wizards dealing with injuries once again.

Krayton: Tyus Jones is out for the Wizards once again, and Kyle Kuzma is questionable. If Kuzma does sit out, we would see Jordan Poole’s usage bump shoot to 9.6%. If Deni Avdija is also out, Poole’s usage jumps to 11.9%. Washington could provide a great source of value tonight.

TastefulTides: According to CourtIQ, in a 438-minute sample with Derrick White, Jaylen Brown, and Kristaps Porzingis off the court, Jayson Tatum has seen the biggest usage differential (bringing his usage rate just shy of 37%). Payton Pritchard has the largest sample size. In 607 minutes, Pritchard’s usage rate increases by 3.8%.

TJ Zwarych: Six Celtics players have positive RG values on tonight’s slate, with 4 players of at least a 49% optimal lineup rate on both FanDuel and DraftKings.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
