NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Saturday, November 25th

Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Taylor Smith needed coverage this weekend, so you are stuck with me for the next couple of days. Well, actually for the next 7 days since I have the Core Plays on weekdays. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and are ready to make this Saturday slate a profitable one. We have 6 games on the schedule but only 4 games on the main slate. We’ll cover the 2 early games in the team previews but focus most of our attention on the ones that start at 7:00 PM ET or later.
For those wondering, I have now seen Trolls Band Together two times in the theaters. My little one loved it so much that he had to see it again. It’s actually pretty good for a kids movie and honestly, we’ll go see just about anything that comes out in theaters. It’s a fun experience with the little one. How does everyone feel about going to the movies alone? I have never had the need, but I’m not dating anyone and can’t remember the last time I saw a movie for adults.

Team Previews
Philadelphia 76ers (at OKC): The 2-game early slate starts with the Sixers, who are 10-5 on the season with a point differential of +6.7 per game. While Kelly Oubre is still out, Philadelphia is expected to have Joel Embiid back in the lineup after missing Wednesday’s game. A matchup against the Thunder is a pace-up one, but Oklahoma City is ranked 5th in defensive rating this season. The Sixers are projected to score 3.2 points less than their season average, which is one of the worst marks of any team playing on Saturday. Joel Embiid has the only positive RG Value in projections, but we might need some value on the early slate. I don’t mind looking to Nicolas Batum.
Oklahoma City Thunder (vs. PHI): I have seen far too many Josh Giddey jokes on the timeline the last couple of days, so we’ll steer away from that. The NBA is looking into the allegations, but Josh Giddey will continue playing until a decision has been made. The Thunder have a difficult matchup against the Sixers, who have been a mediocre matchup so far this season. With Jalen Williams out, we should see another spot start for Cason Wallace. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren lead the way in terms of RG Value, but Wallace, Lu Dort, and Isaiah Joe could all be nice values.
