A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. On weekends, Taylor Smith will guide you through those NBA streets. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.

We’re back on this fine Sunday with a nice little 7-game NBA DFS slate. The festivities get underway a little early at 6 PM ET, though no other game on the slate tips later than 7. That should make things relatively stress-free from a news-monitoring standpoint, and the main slate currently doesn’t have a whole lot of massive injury situations to begin with.

Without further delay, let’s hop right in.

Team Previews

New Orleans Pelicans (at ATL): We’ll tip things off with the Pelicans, who are essentially at full strength heading into tonight’s #BirdBattle against the Hawks in Atlanta. NOLA is favored by 6.5 here with a 113.5 implied team total. This is a favorable enough matchup for the visitors, but they’re all priced appropriately around the industry. The in-form Zion Williamson (1.27 FP/min.) gets the best draw of the bunch against the Hawks’ undermanned frontcourt, but he’s also drawing the most ownership among the Pels’ primary scoring threats. Brandon Ingram is your natural leverage pivot off of Zion in GPPs, while CJ McCollum isn’t much of a priority at a deep point guard position.

Atlanta Hawks (vs. NOP): Trae Young, Jalen Johnson, and Onyeka Okongwu will again be missing from the Hawks’ lineup tonight. We saw Vit Krejci unearthed to draw a rare start in Johnson’s place on Friday, though he hasn’t been a particularly good per-minute producer in limited minutes this season. Dejounte Murray (29.4%) is your predictable usage leader here, while Bogdan Bogdanovic will also take on a leading offensive role. De’Andre Hunter is affordable but difficult to trust given his minutes limit. Saddiq Bey is a solid bounce-back candidate tonight considering he’s playing upwards of 40 minutes a night these days, though his salaries did rise. Clint Capela is probably my favorite option from Atlanta in the $6,000 range, though you can go back to the Bruno Fernando well on FanDuel where he’s cheap ($4,300) and PF eligible.
