Portland (Record: 5-9, Away: 3-3)
Los Angeles Lakers Defense
Points Allowed Per Game: 105.5 (24 of 30)
Defensive Efficiency: 105.7 (27 of 30)
Rebounding Differential: -5.8 (28 of 30)
Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game: 214.7 (28 of 30)
The Lakers are one of the worst defensive squads going today. They are ranked 24th or lower in points/fantasy points allowed per game, defensive efficiency and rebounding differential. The Blazers have a projected team total of 103 today and are three point favorites against the Lakers.
Damian Lillard is a great option at a point guard position that is full of elite choices. Many people will flock to Westbrook and Curry (which are great plays), but this could open the door for a Lillard tournament play as he will be low owned and has a great matchup against the Lakers’ backcourt. C.J. McCollum and Al-Farouq Aminu are the other two Blazers that make great plays today. Both are at tough positions to fill on this slate and are both mid-priced in great matchups.

Portland Trail Blazers Defense
Points Allowed Per Game: 103.3 (19 of 30)
Defensive Efficiency: 104.5 (21 of 30)
Rebounding Differential: 0.4 (15 of 30)
Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game: 203.0 (20 of 30)
The Blazers have been slightly below the league average in points/fantasy points allowed and defensive efficiency so far this year. The Lakers feature a projected team total of 100, which is slightly above their season average.
The Lakers are a really difficult team to find fantasy plays from this year outside of Julius Randle. Randle is a secondary play only, due to the fact that there are guys like Sullinger and Thad Young at his similar price point. Guys like D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson would see a boost if Kobe decides to sit this one out as well.
