NBA Player Props for Friday, 3/20: Best Bets & Predictions Today

What kind of performances can we expect from Pat Spencer, Nikola Jokic, and Tobias Harris? Follow along as our NBA betting analyst, Nick Galaida, breaks down three of his favorite NBA prop bets for Friday, March 20th. Friday’s NBA slate features 6 games, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET. Despite a small slate, there are plenty of stars scheduled to be in action, including Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Nikola Jokic.
Of course, it’s mid-March in the Association, so the NBA injury report is also filled with stars who will not be suiting up to begin the weekend. Anthony Edwards, Cade Cunningham, and Michael Porter have already been ruled out. Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Duren are questionable as of this writing.
As always, be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to evaluate how injuries impact usage and to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Friday, March 20th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 PM ET on Friday, March 20th:
- Pat Spencer Over/Under 13.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
- Nikola Jokic Over/Under 40.5 Points + Rebounds
- Tobias Harris Over/Under 8.5 Rebounds + Assists
Pat Spencer OVER 13.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-104, DraftKings)
Golden State is thin on available bodies right now, with Moses Moody, Quinten Post, Stephen Curry, Al Horford, Jimmy Butler, and Seth Curry all unavailable. As a result, Spencer has seen his playing time increase in recent weeks.
Entering play on Friday, he’s logged 19+ minutes in 5 consecutive games. During that span, he’s taken fewer than 8 shots in a game only once. Spencer has cleared this number in 4 of his last 5 games with Stephen Curry and Moses Moody sidelined. He projects well again this evening against the shorthanded Pistons.
Nikola Jokic UNDER 40.5 Points + Rebounds (-116, DraftKings)
In games that Denver is projected to win relatively easily, Jokic is often far less aggressive on the offensive end of the floor. When Denver has won by 10+ points this season, he’s gone under this number in 12 of 21 contests.
The Nuggets are at home tonight against a Raptors squad that is in the middle of a 5-game road trip. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Denver take care of business early and for Jokic to let his teammates have more time in the spotlight on the offensive end of the floor.
A blowout win could reduce Jokic’s minutes as well, which could make including the rebounds worthwhile.
Tobias Harris UNDER 8.5 Rebounds + Assists (+130, Hard Rock)
Jalen Duren is questionable ahead of tip-off tonight, but if he plays, this number is too high for Harris. In a limited sample size with Cade Cunningham unavailable this season, Harris has cleared this number in 3 of 3 games, but the underlying metrics aren’t optimistic about that trend continuing.
In those games, Harris has posted no more than 11 rebound chances. He also has only 1 game from that sample with more than 6 potential assists.
ScoresAndOdds has Harris projected for 7.98 rebounds + assists this evening.
